Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

Plain language where possible, legal language where necessary.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the SpecPeek plugin and viewer ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SpecPeek ("we", "our", "us"), operated by Todor Gospodinov, Sofia, Bulgaria, EU.

2. What SpecPeek Is

SpecPeek is a Figma plugin and web-based viewer that lets designers share design specifications with developers via encrypted, inspectable links. Developers and other stakeholders can inspect elements, view CSS and Tailwind code, and read spacing, typography, and color values — without a Figma account.

Design data is encrypted end-to-end (XSalsa20-Poly1305) before leaving the Figma plugin. Our servers store only encrypted blobs. The decryption key is embedded in the URL fragment and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Anyone with the full spec URL can decrypt and view the design data — the URL itself serves as the access credential.

3. Plans and Billing

SpecPeek offers a Pro plan with a 14-day free trial so you can fully evaluate the product before purchasing. No credit card is required for the trial. The Pro plan provides unlimited spec sharing, CSS and Tailwind output, element inspection, and zero-knowledge encryption.

Pro is available on two billing cycles: $19/month billed monthly, or $180/year billed annually ($15/month).

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you're unhappy with the Service, contact support@specpeek.com and we'll do our best to make it right.

If you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of your current paid period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

SpecPeek and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your designs remain yours. We claim no ownership or rights over any content you process through the Service. We store only encrypted data that we cannot decrypt or access.

6. Third-Party Services

SpecPeek relies on third-party services including Figma, Cloudflare, and Lemon Squeezy. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or discontinuation of third-party services that may affect the functionality of SpecPeek.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SpecPeek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the plugin and cancelling your subscription.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice or liability, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms as the product evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via the SpecPeek website and, where possible, within the Figma plugin. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Continued use of SpecPeek after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria.
